Hosting a basic skills event
All USA Water Ski & Wake Sports affiliated clubs are eligible to host their own Basic Skills event to get more people on the water and gain a presence in their community. Before you plan your event, make sure that your club is a USA Water Ski & Wake Sports affiliate.
*Please note that an event it is not considered approved and/or sanctioned until you receive notification of approval of USA Water Ski & Wake Sports headquarters. Once you receive notification, you’re all set! 
​Sanction documents must be received no later than 7 days prior to the beginning day of the clinic in order to avoid a $25 late fee

Before the event

during the event

Complete the clinic registration and collect new/guest memberships and payments payable to USA Water Ski & Wake Sports.

after the event

  • Return completed clinic registration, new/guest memberships and payments to HQ
  • The Chief Safety Director must complete the post event form
  • *all post-tournament documentation must be completed and returned to headquarters within 10 days of the end of the event to avoid penalty
